As of 1st July 2025 The Waste Minimization Act 2008 imposes a $15 per tonne levy on all material not deemed Virgin Excavated Natural Material (VENM).

Type 1: Clean Dry Clay.

Type 3: Wet Loads (During the winter period 1 June to 31 Aug, all loads type 3).

Type 4: Heavy Loads/Saturated Material/Concrete/Rocks > 250 mm or any concrete containing rebar.

Type 5: Slop/Vegetation/Managed Fill.

Waste declaration forms to be completed before tipping on site.

Oversized concrete/material/rebar is defined as concrete over 250mm in diameter which contains any type of steel/mesh etc. Oversized stone is also classed in this category.

Concrete tipping is subject to availability.

All products are sold by weight. All listed prices are exclusive of GST.

Loads are cross-checked for weight on the weigh bridge. If you are over the load rate tolerance, then you will be charged the pro-rata tonne rate for the extra. Please call the office should you require further clarification.

The Urban Quarry Ltd. cannot accept materials outside of the clean fill descriptions; green waste, general refuse, hazardous materials, materials with hydrocarbons, plastics, rubber, tyres, and materials with high readings of heavy metals cannot be accepted.
